The
other day, I read an article about Twitter hashtags and supposedly what works
and what doesn’t. The article was quite lengthy, but I labored on; hoping I
would find some words of wisdom. Well, the article didn’t tell me anything I
didn’t already know, but it failed to mention one key element and that is
distribution. It's the same for selling books, without distribution your book has
as much chance of making a bestseller as becoming a saint.

At the moment, I’m
busy editing my third book, which is a novel in the mystery adventure genre.
When I say editing, I mean enhancing the work not just discovering obvious grammar
mistakes. Now, I’ve been through the book more times than I can count on my
fingers, which I hope proves to be a worthwhile exercise because these days I
have less patience than a dog in heat. Why am I editing the book myself is
because I’m poor, you see Success as an author has eluded me like a black cat on
a moonless night, and lately I’ve seen beggars better dressed than me? When I
say poor I mean poor, in fact, at the food bank they already know me by my
first name. You see, I’m a lot like Van Gogh but not that egocentric; I didn’t
paint 58 self-portraits and I still have my ears, but you never know I may get
hungry, especially, if they close the food bank.
So,
there it is, what works and what doesn’t, and to be honest, I don’t know and I
don’t think anybody else does. And if I
was Shakespeare I may say something like, “Too much of a good thing is not good
enough.”
Are you listening, what are you dreaming?
As Jesus said, “Belief is everything.”
In my book “It’s Never Too Late” read how dreams do come true, but be careful what you wish for. Understand the secret of greed and you will attain one of the secrets of prosperity. The book will also take you on a journey and explore love, money, luck, and much more.
