The Bookshop Guru
I learned to meditate some years ago when I was a fanatic of hatha yoga. I would often meditate for some considerable time trying to let my mind be free from conscious thought and let see what would happen. It takes practice and time to let your mind be free from the shackles of everyday thoughts. But, when you have shaken off the conscious mind it's surprising what can spring into focus and it’s often the least expected.
I often practice meditation to relieve the stress of everyday living because we all need something to let it all go. As Lao Tzu said, “Follow the way” which is a philosophy about living with nature and not against it. If you are interested I wrote an article on the subject of the “WAY” by Lao Tzu click here. Sometimes you have to appreciate that life is not a straight line because there are no straight lines in nature even space is curved. CLICK HERE FOR MORE...
