Son, Have You Ever Been to Vegas? Me and My Monkey

I know what you're thinking, Am I an alien? Well, the truth is, I don't know, you see DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) made me, but I'm not sure who was pulling the strings? You see, on the other hand, I could be a product of AI (Artificial Intelligence) that biologically started the ball rolling when it introduced intelligence into the DNA of our species. What do you think? The choice is yours.

My Mobile Thoughts?

Today, there are many such as nuclear pollution. Yes, how in the future will they store this crap? Many of the most harmful nuclear waste particles last for hundreds of thousands of years. Today, most of the nuclear waste is stored above ground in special containers, but how long will they last? Will we all evolve into little grey aliens with no need for shampoo?

From Russia with Love, Before We Go to War Read the Following Story:

I had not wanted to say anything about anything, but sometimes the story needs to be remembered just so we can get real enough before it is too late, because tomorrow never comes. And that would be a waste of intelligence. Our next serious and most beneficial task is to get to the stars, and seek new frontiers of endeavour so we can live longer and happier, but first we have to be honest with ourselves and stop lying to each other about why you cannot do something about this or that. In some countries nearly all freedoms have been won by blood. I hope we can feed ourselves, and avoid the Mephistopheles of raising sea levels, and a changing environment. Yes, the age of interstellar travel is what is needed, and we need to reach for the stars and seek out our frontiers just like the previous explorers and engineers. Scientists have brought great advances in our lives because we live right now at the best it’s been as far as we know IT.

Let's not forget the 80's
I was 10 as the 80's ended, and my dad told me what he remembered about the first part of the decade, he said at times with anger and comedy as he explained about the mix of riots, which was often blurred as to who was who at the time.

What my dad said, the reality was scary, and really elaborate at times, what he meant was later to sink in, but for now the story was confined to his sense of humour and his fatalistic view, but in all this he had seen through the players which was played out as if it was some sort of game of chess, but with the horror of Armageddon the only winner. There was always unemployment, AIDS, war, and nuclear paranoia on the agenda.

Anyone, who tries to tell you that they spent the decade with an asymmetric haircut, wearing legwarmers, and doing the Rubik cube is lying. My hair was always plain and simple, and while Thatcher did her thing, I did mine. I still have a nagging resentment about the Thatcher legacy though, but it is hard to imagine going back to just a BT phone land-line, and our big red brick home phone again.

Take Your Hand Out of the Cookie Jar and Read My Story

And there I was, looking straight at God or what I thought to be God. Why did I think it was God, well, that is a good question? The truth is I do not know, but for some reason my subconscious had decided it was. Now, the vision I saw had no human form, only, I saw a spinning ball of light shaped like the sun, but without well-defined edges. So, my subconscious had decided it was God or that the spinning ball of light that I saw, was a means to communicate with God, either way, the subconscious had control over the hour or so that I listened to what I believed to be God.

I was told a fantastic story. I travelled back in time to observe the moment a stranger entered the court of a great king of Mesopotamia. I saw the stranger approach the king, and the king said, “Who are you?” The stranger replied, “Your treasure is gone.” The king looked perplexed and said, “I am the king of Babylon and who are you?” The stranger said, “Take me to where you guard your treasure.” As the guards of the treasure room opened the door they saw no shinning gold, only dust. The king said to the stranger, “What have you done with my treasure?” The stranger replied, “What you value in this life has no value in the next. My name is Jesus, I am the messenger. I go wherever my father demands.” As the king was about to speak the stranger turned away and disappeared.

Several days after this spiritual experience I decided to research the kings of ancient Babylon. I found that indeed there is a legend about a king of Babylon who it is said made a bargain to free the enslaved Jews from captivity soon after a mysterious man appeared in the king’s court. The legend says that the king died about three months after the Jews were set free, but the king lived long enough to see his daughter marry. The legend it is said, that this was the bargain the king made for his life with the stranger who came to court. To this day many people believe that the legend of the lost treasure of Babylon to be true.

How I lost a Fortune Being a Compulsive Gambler

How I lost a fortune being a compulsive gambler, and other things. Oh, did I not mention also being bipolar. Now, how I lost a fortune over the years of being a compulsive gambler. Well to start with it’s not easy to admit to being a compulsive gambler until you have hit rock bottom, and that literally means you are totally broke. And, in my case in debt as well because, I have also gone max out my credit cards as well as my bank account. Now, I lost most of my money playing online casino roulette the same game they have in Fixed Odds Betting machines in betting shops, and I would assume the same or similar software running the games because you never win. I have finished playing with these games because I generally believe they are fixed so that in the end the casino always wins if you play them long enough.

Elvis Presley - The Gambler
Currently, I am seeing a professional psychologist who deals with problem gamblers like me. It’s only the fourth week and so far I am not cured. In fact, in the last few weeks that I had help my gambling problem just deteriorated and I am in the proverbial mess. It takes that rock bottom, totally broke, and in a financial mess moment when you have had to admit to your landlord, and your family that you are a compulsive gambler and have been for many years. It is not easy to admit to your family, to your daughter and son that you have a problem and that you have lost a fortune over the years to gambling.  And, in my case, that is exactly what I have had to do, admit I have a problem with gambling. Luckily, and I use that word with caution, I have hit rock bottom because the only rehab that works for me is going broke.

The Power of Intuition

I believe our intuition is so powerful, that we should trust it more often than we often do. I consider the use of our intuition as our sixth sense. They say we only use about 10 percent of our potential brain power, well, I think, this is an urban myth. I think we only understand currently around 10 percent of the potential of our brains, otherwise, why would evolution evolve a large brain for our species? Because, we should not forget that just because we use the almighty word “human” to describe our species we are only just another animal that evolved, and we know many animals like dogs have super senses like smell and hearing. Read – The Secret of Intuition.
I know with intuition, it is often that salient voice trying to guide you, but for some inescapable reason we often ignore the advice and we wished sometime later that we had followed the advice. The power of our intuition is our sixth sense; perhaps, over the passage of evolutionary time we have forgotten how to fully use its abilities. Why, is the million dollar question and answer? Perhaps, we just got lazy, just a thought.

You Can't Always Get What You Want

Dieting is a serious business; I mean it takes a lot of willpower. I have to avoid literally everything most of us like. And in my case it’s like living in a sweet shop because I like most things that increase my weight. Now, I also have to contend with oedema caused by the shit medication I have to take to control my bipolar disorder. But, life is good if only I could control my spending habits because that is another characteristic of bipolar you sometimes have no control of how you spend your money. And in my case, the only rehab that works is when I go broke, which happens on a regular basis, but fortunately or not I have the ability to ride out of the storm.

Those people who have read my latest book know how I have done this. It’s fair to say my creative side is my best asset, but if I told you the secret of prosperity would you follow the advice, probably not, because most of us hate taking advice, we think we know when we don’t.
Consider the following: The Pilgrim’s Tale

Have you heard the story about the pilgrim who went to visit the Dalai Lama? The pilgrim wanted to ask the Dalai Lama what was the meaning of life? The pilgrim waited five years before seeing the Dalai Lama.

The Dalai Lama answered the pilgrim’s question by asking the pilgrim why you want to know the meaning of life.  The pilgrim replied, “Because I want to know my purpose in life?”

The Dalai Lama said, “Man thinks, he is above the animal, and that he has purpose, because that is the way he is taught from birth to think, but forgets he is an animal.”
